Prologue Growing up I never really saw much of my father. My mom would tell me when I was younger that my dad was on a business trip or that he was visiting a friend overseas. He would come home when he could if my mom or I had a birthday, but only for one day, so most of the time it was just me and mom. BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-My alarm clock sounded. I must have forgotten to turn it off the night before. Today was going to be a beautiful Saturday morning, besides the fact that I had a rude awakening.
